TUXEDO unveils InfinityBook Pro 15 Intel edition with 99Wh battery and Linux-first design

TUXEDO Computers has revealed its latest Linux-powered laptop, the InfinityBook Pro 15 Intel edition. This premium business ultrabook packs a Core Ultra 7 255H processor, up to 128GB of RAM, and a massive 99Wh battery, all inside a slim, lightweight aluminum body built for professionals who prefer open-source computing over proprietary ecosystems.

Weighing just 1.75kg and measuring under 20mm thick, the InfinityBook Pro 15 strikes a balance between portability and performance. The 15.3-inch display (2560×1600, 500 nits, 100% sRGB) offers plenty of workspace for developers, designers, and creators. Its sturdy aluminum chassis is complemented by a full-size backlit keyboard with number pad, precision glass touchpad, and a privacy shutter-equipped 1080p webcam.

Under the hood, Intel’s Core Ultra 7 255H features 16 cores split between performance and efficiency clusters. Users can choose between three performance profiles: Balanced (35W), Enthusiast (45W), and Overboost (90W), depending on whether they value quiet cooling or full power. For visuals, Intel’s Arc 140T integrated GPU brings 8 Xe cores clocked up to 2.25GHz, offering enough horsepower for light gaming, creative tasks, and local AI processing.

Connectivity and expandability remain key strengths of this model. Dual Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C ports with Power Delivery, HDMI 2.1, three USB-A ports, a LAN port, and a full-size SD card reader make it versatile for both desk and mobile setups. Storage options go up to 8TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD space, while memory supports up to 128GB DDR5-5600 or 96GB DDR5-6400 RAM across two accessible slots.

True to TUXEDO’s Linux roots, the InfinityBook Pro 15 ships with full Linux support, including pre-installed drivers, in-house utilities, and a choice of TUXEDO OS or Ubuntu 24.04 with optional full-disk encryption. Windows 11 is also available for dual-boot users.
