A new NordProtect survey reveals that 53 percent of Americans feel more ashamed of falling for a romance scam than other fraud. Men are nearly twice as likely as women to lose money, with average losses reaching $2,001 to $4,000. Many victims underreport incidents, allowing scammers to keep operating in silence.
