Baseus Nomos NH21 6-in-1 Desktop Charging Station 245W promises to clean up messy desks with serious power

Baseus is rolling out a new desktop charging station aimed squarely at people who are tired of cable clutter and power juggling. The company’s Baseus Nomos NH21 6-in-1 Desktop Charging Station 245W pushes a hefty 245W of total output and tries to solve a problem most modern desks share, which is too many devices and not enough clean ways to power them.

At a glance, the Nomos NH21 looks like another chunky GaN charger, but the design choice here is the real story. Instead of asking users to bring their own cables, Baseus builds two retractable USB-C cables directly into the body. Each cable extends up to 0.8 meters and pulls back in when not needed, which keeps desks from turning into a knot of wires by the end of the day. Baseus says the cables are rated for more than 35,000 pulls, which suggests it expects people to actually use this feature constantly.

The station is designed as a full desktop power hub, not just a laptop charger. Alongside the two retractable USB-C cables, it includes two additional USB-C ports, one USB-A port, and a Qi2 magnetic wireless charging pad on top. That allows up to six devices to charge at once without stacking bricks or hunting for outlets behind a desk.

For anyone working with a laptop, phone, tablet, earbuds, and a couple of accessories, that setup is immediately appealing. Keep in mind, however, in real-world multi-device setups, power is dynamically shared across ports. And so, individual devices may charge at lower wattages than the maximum supported per port as you can see in the image directly below.

Power delivery is where the Baseus Nomos NH21 6-in-1 Desktop Charging Station 245W separates itself from smaller desktop chargers. The total output tops out at 245W, and two of the USB-C connections can each deliver up to 140W. That is enough to handle power hungry laptops alongside everything else on a desk without slowing charging speeds. Baseus uses its BPS 3.0 intelligent power distribution system to automatically balance output depending on what is plugged in, which removes the guesswork of figuring out which port does what.

Internally, the charger relies on GaN technology to keep heat under control while delivering high wattage. What is interesting is that Baseus uses a split design, moving much of the thermal load away from the main charging body and into the power adapter. The idea is simple. Less heat where cables and hands are, more stability when everything is charging at once. That approach makes sense for a station that is likely to sit within arm’s reach all day.

There is also a small digital display built into the front of the unit. It shows real-time power draw and current output, which is not something most people strictly need, but it does give quick confirmation that everything is charging as expected. For tech-focused users, it is the kind of detail that quietly adds confidence rather than screaming for attention.

Device compatibility is broad. The station supports smartphones, tablets, laptops, cameras, and accessories from most major brands. Baseus specifically mentions iPhone models from 12 through 17, along with MacBook, iPad, Galaxy devices, Switch, DJI gear, and GoPro cameras. The Qi2 wireless pad on top supports magnetic charging for newer iPhones, which means a phone can be dropped on the station without hunting for another cable.

What stands out about the Baseus Nomos NH21 6-in-1 Desktop Charging Station 245W is that it is clearly built around desk life rather than travel. This is not something you toss in a backpack. It is meant to stay put, quietly powering everything in one place. For home offices and permanent workspaces, that is exactly the use case most people actually need but rarely see addressed cleanly.

The built-in cables alone make this feel like a product designed by someone who has looked at a messy desk and decided enough was enough. Instead of selling a charger and hoping users figure out cable management on their own, Baseus bakes the solution directly into the hardware. It does not reinvent charging, obviously, but it does try to make the experience less annoying, which counts for a lot in daily use.

The Baseus Nomos NH21 6-in-1 Desktop Charging Station 245W is priced at $199.99 in the United States and is available now through Amazon.
