Apple launches Powerbeats Fit with smaller case and flexible wingtip

Powerbeats Fit is Apple’s latest addition to the Beats lineup, a reworked version of Beats Fit Pro that focuses on comfort, portability, and durability. The redesigned wingtip is now 20 percent more flexible, providing a secure fit without the bulk of the Pro 2’s earhook. The charging case has also been reduced in size by 17 percent, making it more convenient to carry in a pocket or gym bag.

Apple is positioning Powerbeats Fit as the balance point between its larger earhook-style Powerbeats Pro 2 and its more compact earbuds. The IPX4 rating ensures resistance against sweat and rain, while four sizes of ear tips from extra-small to large are included for a tailored fit. Once sealed properly, Adaptive EQ automatically tunes audio output for each user. The earbuds use custom drivers to deliver the signature Beats sound and also support Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking.

For focus, Powerbeats Fit includes Active Noise Cancelling, while Transparency mode allows outside awareness when needed. Calls benefit from dual beam-forming microphones and a processor that cuts down on background noise. Battery life reaches up to 30 hours with the charging case, or seven hours per bud. A five-minute Fast Fuel charge delivers an hour of playback, useful for quick top-ups.

The Apple H1 chip brings iOS features like Automatic Switching between devices, Audio Sharing, hands-free Hey Siri, and Find My. Android users get support through the Beats app, which enables one-touch pairing, customizable controls, fit testing, and device locating. Packaging is made entirely from plant-based recycled fiber, showing a nod toward sustainability.

Powerbeats Fit

Powerbeats Fit is available today in Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink. It is priced at $199.99 on Apple’s website, with retail availability beginning October 2.
