SAPPHIRE shrinks Ryzen AI power into a palm-sized EDGE AI mini PC

SAPPHIRE Technology has officially launched its new EDGE AI Series, a sleek family of barebone mini PCs powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series chips with up to 50 TOPS of neural acceleration. These tiny systems are built for professionals and integrators who want real-time AI processing without relying on the cloud, from industrial automation to media editing and smart classrooms. Each system combines a multi-core AMD CPU, integrated Radeon 800M graphics, and AMD’s latest XDNA2 NPU for fast, local AI inference with enhanced privacy.

At just 117×111×30 mm, the EDGE AI Series offers serious desktop-class performance in an ultra-compact body. It supports dual-channel DDR5 SO-DIMM memory up to 96GB, M.2 NVMe SSDs, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, and 2.5G Ethernet. The tool-less magnetic chassis makes it easy to open and upgrade. Connectivity includes dual HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB-C 4.0 with Power Delivery 3.0, multiple USB-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is also Copilot+ PC-ready, giving Windows users access to on-device AI features while maintaining full compatibility with Linux.

Three configurations will be available:

  • SAPPHIRE EDGE AI 370: AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370
  • SAPPHIRE EDGE AI 350: AMD Ryzen AI 7 350
  • SAPPHIRE EDGE AI 340: AMD Ryzen AI 5 340

Each model features AMD’s NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS, Radeon 800M graphics, and boost clocks up to 5.1GHz depending on configuration. The systems include a 120W power adapter (19V, 6.32A), come in Golden Black, and support both Windows and Linux.

The EDGE AI line is clearly aimed at businesses, creators, and enthusiasts who want to deploy scalable AI systems at the edge, whether for retail analytics, smart offices, education, or light gaming. With a VESA mount for flexible placement and robust connectivity, SAPPHIRE has created a true plug-and-play AI platform that fits in your palm but delivers desktop performance.

Pricing details have not yet been announced, but the systems will soon be available through authorized SAPPHIRE partners worldwide.
