XPG is pushing its gaming lineup forward with the ARMAX DDR5 series, a pair of kits built around speed, style, and compatibility. The company leans into a “stealth-fighter” look for this release, giving the modules a sharp, tactical design that stands out whether someone chooses the RGB version or the low-key dark model. XPG says these kits top out at 6400 MT/s, placing them squarely in the sweet spot many gamers target when upgrading to DDR5.
The ARMAX series is also shaped for today’s SFF trend. Each module sits at just 39.5mm tall, which is ideal for tighter builds where a large cpu cooler or cable cluster can otherwise cause headaches. The modules support both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD Expo, and they include a pmic and on-die ecc to keep things stable under load. In practice, XPG is aiming for broad drop-in compatibility, whether a system is running AMD or Intel hardware.
Beyond the design language, XPG is also sharing full specs. The memory comes in 16GB and 32GB capacities, available in 6000 MT/s or 6400 MT/s variants. CAS latencies land at 30 or 32 depending on the kit, with 1.4V test voltage. The SPD profile runs at 4800 MT/s with a 40-39-39-77 timing set at 1.1V.
The modules follow the standard U-DIMM form factor and ship only in black, weighing roughly 43g to 47g depending on the version. Operating temperatures range from 0°C to 85°C, and both models share the same limited lifetime warranty that ADATA and XPG usually offer.
People building around RGB get a V-shaped top light bar that integrates with XPG Prime and popular motherboard lighting software, while those who prefer a quieter look can choose the non-RGB version.
