Satechi launched the OntheGo 7-in-1 Multiport Adapter, a palm-sized hub that aims to turn your phone, tablet, or laptop into a complete workstation. It’s part of Satechi’s expanding OntheGo collection and goes on sale November 13 for $59.99.
Roughly the size of a hockey puck and lighter than a deck of cards, the adapter provides seven types of connection in a compact enclosure. It offers seven essential connections: HDMI (4K at 60Hz), two USB-A ports (5Gbps), SD and microSD readers (up to 104MB/s), Gigabit Ethernet, and a USB-C PD port supporting up to 100W pass-through charging. That’s a lot of I/O for something that can disappear into your jacket pocket.
The magnetic base is designed for MagSafe-compatible iPhones, snapping right onto the back of an iPhone 15, 16, or 17 Pro for a clean setup. A 3M adhesive ring adds compatibility for everything else, from tablets and Windows PCs to Android phones and gaming consoles. Satechi even includes a coiled, tangle-free braided cable that wraps neatly around the device for quick storage.
Satechi’s co-founder Brock Guclu said the adapter was made to “combine power and portability in a sleek design so you can bring your desk anywhere.” It’s clearly aimed at travelers, students, and creators who want to connect cameras, drives, or displays without lugging around a full docking station.
The adapter works across macOS, iPadOS, iOS, Windows, Android, and ChromeOS, making it one of the more versatile USB-C accessories you can toss into a bag. It launched at $59.99 through Satechi.
