TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14 brings AMD Ryzen AI power to Linux users with 3K display and sleek aluminum body

TUXEDO is rolling out the tenth-generation InfinityBook Pro 14, and it looks like a great option for anyone tired of Windows machines. Built with Linux in mind, this new laptop offers a surprising mix of portability, performance, and upgradeability.

The device is carved from aluminum and weighs about 3.2 pounds, keeping things thin at just 0.67 inches. Under that sturdy hood is your choice of AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 processors. The base model uses the Ryzen AI 7 350 with 8 cores, while more demanding users can bump up to the AI 9 365 (10 cores) or AI 9 HX 370 (12 cores). According to TUXEDO, performance sees a big boost compared to last year’s model. In fact, it can perform up to 40 percent better.

On graphics, all models come with Radeon 800M integrated GPUs. Depending on which CPU you choose, you’ll get between 8 and 16 graphics cores. These aren’t meant to replace discrete GPUs, but for light gaming or creative work, the performance is solid. TUXEDO claims up to 30 percent better GPU performance than before.

The laptop’s 14-inch display runs at 2880×1800 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. With a pixel density of 243 PPI and a brightness of 500 nits, it’s designed to be both sharp and usable indoors or outside. The 16:10 aspect ratio and 100 percent sRGB color range make it just as comfortable for spreadsheets as for watching movies.

Despite its compact frame, this notebook doesn’t skimp on ports. It includes USB4, HDMI 2.1, three USB-A ports, a full-sized SD card slot, and even a physical Ethernet jack. Storage and memory are user-upgradeable, with support for up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM and two SSDs totaling up to 8TB.

Powering everything is an 80Wh battery. TUXEDO says it can last up to 9 hours of web browsing. Charging is handled through USB-C, either on the side or the back, and it supports fast charging with a 60W or 100W adapter.

The InfinityBook Pro 14 ships with Linux preinstalled, either the company’s custom TUXEDO OS or alternatives like Ubuntu and Kubuntu. All drivers are included, and the company offers support from Linux-trained staff. For those who insist, Windows 11 can also be preloaded on request.

Pricing for the base configuration starts at about $1,085. That gets you a Ryzen AI 350 processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a 500GB Samsung 980 SSD, and TUXEDO OS. Pre-orders are live now here, with shipping expected to begin at the end of July.
