ASUS has decided that if you are going to build a laptop for action creators, you might as well go all in. The new ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 is a limited-edition convertible built in partnership with GoPro, and it is clearly aimed at people who spend their days cutting 4K and 360-degree footage instead of writing emails.
Inside, this thing is stacked. It runs on AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, complete with an NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS. ASUS pairs that with a massive 128GB of LPDDR5X memory clocked at 8000MHz. For a 13-inch system that weighs just over 3 pounds, that is serious headroom. If you are juggling high-resolution action clips, batch photo exports, and AI-powered enhancements at the same time, the hardware is not likely to be the bottleneck.
ASUS is also leaning hard into on-device AI. Rather than pushing everything to the cloud, the PX13 handles tasks like upscaling, denoising, and real-time enhancements locally. For creators working in the field, that matters. Spotty WiFi should not dictate whether you can finish a project.

The design is where the GoPro influence shows up. The chassis comes in Nano Black with subtle horizontal engravings across the lid and cyan keyboard backlighting. ASUS even includes a custom sleeve and packaging that doubles as storage for GoPro cameras and accessories. It is clearly meant to live alongside your camera gear, not just sit on a desk at home.
The 13.3-inch OLED display runs at 2880 x 1800 with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. If you care about color accuracy, contrast, and deep blacks, this panel checks the right boxes. It supports stylus input, and ASUS integrates its DialPad control system for more precise adjustments in creative apps. For video editors and digital artists, that kind of tactile control can speed things up in subtle but meaningful ways.
Because this is a GoPro edition, workflow integration is front and center. ASUS includes its StoryCube app, which ties into GoPro Cloud and supports 360-degree video. There is even a dedicated GoPro Hotkey that launches GoPro Player instantly. According to ASUS, StoryCube can automatically sync, sort, and tag footage using AI recognition. Anyone who has manually organized dozens of clips after a long shoot will understand the appeal.
The PX13 is a 360-degree convertible, so you can use it in laptop, tent, or tablet mode. It measures as thin as 0.62 inches and weighs 3.06 pounds. ASUS says it has been tested to military-grade standards, which fits the rugged creator theme, though most people will hopefully not test that claim too aggressively.

Port selection is practical. You get one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C ports with display and power delivery support, HDMI 2.1 FRL, a microSD 4.0 card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The battery is rated at 73Wh, and the included power adapter is 200W.
ASUS is also refreshing the standard ProArt PX13 with the same Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, but that version comes with 64GB of memory instead of 128GB.
As for pricing, the ProArt GoPro Edition PX13 is available now in the United States here for $2,999.99 through the ASUS Store and Best Buy. The refreshed standard ProArt PX13 (not GoPro) comes in at $2,799.99 here.
For a compact 13-inch machine, that is not cheap. But if you are the kind of creator who actually needs 128GB of RAM in a travel-friendly form factor, ASUS is clearly betting you will see the value. The bigger question is whether the GoPro branding becomes a long-term advantage or just a clever way to stand out in a market suddenly flooded with AI laptops.
