Logitech MX Master 4 mouse debuts with haptic feedback and new Actions Ring

Logitech has announced the MX Master 4, a premium wireless mouse (Bluetooth or USB receiver) built for professionals who demand precision, comfort, and speed. The MX Master 4 is the first in the MX lineup to feature customizable haptic feedback, giving users subtle vibrations during scrolling, navigation, and shortcuts. Logitech is positioning this as a major improvement in how people interact with their work, offering tactile confirmation for tasks in video editing, design, and data-heavy applications.

The new Actions Ring, powered by Logi Options+, is another standout feature. It creates a digital overlay of app-specific shortcuts that appear directly on your screen, promising to save up to 33 percent of time and cut repetitive mouse movements by 63 percent. For instance, professionals can assign unique commands for Photoshop or automate functions in Excel, helping streamline complex workflows without breaking concentration.

Connectivity has also been strengthened. A redesigned antenna, high-performance chip, and USB-C dongle deliver twice the wireless reliability of the previous model. Multi-device pairing allows seamless switching between three computers or tablets, and Logi Options+ Flow support makes it possible to move files across systems with little effort. Logitech has also kept comfort in focus, maintaining the MX Master’s signature ergonomic tilt and adding a low-noise click mechanism that reduces sound by 90 percent compared to the MX Master 3.

Performance is led by the MagSpeed Scroll Wheel, capable of flying through 1,000 lines per second while still offering pixel-level control. An 8,000 DPI sensor works on virtually any surface, including glass, making it suitable for large, high-resolution displays. Power is handled by a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 70 days, with a one-minute quick charge delivering three hours of use.

For business deployments, Logitech will also offer an MX Master 4 for Business edition. It works with Logitech Sync for remote monitoring and Logi Bolt for stable connections in crowded office environments. This allows IT teams to handle deployments and updates without desk visits, while employees benefit from a reliable, enterprise-grade tool.

The MX Master 4 also puts sustainability front and center. It uses up to 54 percent recycled plastic depending on color, a low-carbon aluminum thumbwheel, and a battery made from 100 percent recycled cobalt. Packaging is FSC-certified, and the mouse is designed to be easy to disassemble for recycling.

At $119.99, each purchase includes a complimentary one-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription with access to Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro. Color options include Graphite, Pale Grey, and Black globally, with Mac-specific finishes available in Space Black and White Silver.
