Satechi is expanding its ChargeView lineup with a new desktop charger aimed at people who have turned their desks into full-blown device charging stations.
The new ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger features six USB-C ports, a built-in LCD display, and enough power to handle multiple laptops, tablets, phones, and accessories at the same time.
Unlike traditional chargers that hide everything happening behind the scenes, Satechi wants users to see exactly how much power each connected device is receiving. The integrated display shows real-time wattage for each port, giving users a quick way to check charging performance without unplugging cables.

The charger delivers up to 240W of total output using GaN technology. Satechi says the power management system can automatically adjust output between connected devices to keep charging efficient while preventing excessive heat.
Two of the USB-C ports support up to 140W each through USB Power Delivery 3.2 EPR AVS, making them suitable for higher-powered laptops. The remaining ports provide up to 100W and 30W depending on placement, allowing users to mix laptops, smartphones, and other accessories on the same charger.
For people with multiple Apple devices, gaming gear, or a home office full of USB-C hardware, a charger like this can reduce the number of power bricks sitting around on a desk. A single desktop unit is easier to manage than a collection of individual chargers competing for outlets.

The design also appears aimed at users who care about how their workspace looks. The ChargeView 240W comes in Space Black with a metallic matte finish and includes a stand that supports both vertical and horizontal positioning. The horizontal setup tilts the display slightly forward, while the vertical orientation keeps the charger footprint smaller.
Of course, a $149.99 desktop charger is not going to make sense for everyone. Most people charging a phone, earbuds, and maybe a laptop do not need this much power. But for creators, professionals, and anyone with a desk full of USB-C devices, seeing exactly what is happening with charging could be useful.
The Satechi ChargeView 240W Desktop Charger is available now from Amazon for $149.99.
