Logitech opens its first U.S. experience store in San Francisco with a giant MX Master mouse centerpiece

Logitech is opening a temporary experience store in San Francisco’s Union Square, giving locals a chance to get hands on with its newest gear and see the MX product line in a more playful, creative way. The pop up runs from November 25 through December 24, with the company pitching it as a place where people can explore gear, test creator focused tools and enjoy small events throughout the month.

Inside, visitors can try the MX Master 4 mouse, which Logitech said has been getting a lot of praise from the community. The store includes an Immersion Wall where you can use the mouse to manipulate digital artwork while feeling the haptic response. There is also a massive MX Master 4 sculpture that people can pose with, which seems destined to become a holiday season Instagram backdrop for Union Square shoppers.

Logitech is kicking things off with a media preview on opening day, followed by an official ribbon cutting on December 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. Company executives will speak and creators like Anthony Ghnassia and Mike V will demonstrate how they use MX gear during real workflows. iJustine and Evan Ranft are also scheduled to appear.

Throughout the month, the store will host giveaways and small in store events. Logitech will even offer free laser engraving for anyone who brings in or buys an MX Master 4 from Friday through Sunday during set hours.

The store is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Christmas Eve. Logitech’s site and the #MXExperience tag on Instagram will post updated programming details.

If you stop by, there is a giant MX Master mouse centerpiece big enough to stand in front of, so you can grab a fun holiday photo. And while it probably goes without saying, you could always jokingly ask a staff member if you’re allowed to “ride” it like a mechanical bull. They’ll almost certainly say no, but it may earn you a smile.
