Wyze has launched its latest security device, the Wyze Battery Video Doorbell, a compact wire-free doorbell designed to make front-porch monitoring simple and affordable. It offers up to six months of battery life, a massive 150° x 150° field of view, and a crisp 1536×1536 HD+ resolution that captures everything from a visitor’s face to packages at the doorstep.
The doorbell’s square 1:1 aspect ratio ensures no blind spots, while motion notifications and optional AI detection for people and packages keep homeowners informed in real time. Its built-in 90dB siren and motion-activated voice deterrence add an extra layer of security. The device includes Two-Way Talk and auto-response options so users can reply to guests or delivery drivers right from the Wyze app.

Wyze built this model for flexibility. It can be powered by a rechargeable 6400mAh battery or wired to a 5V/2A DC or 12-24V AC connection for continuous operation and 24/7 local microSD recording. It is also IP65 weather-resistant, making it suitable for harsh conditions from -4°F to 122°F. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi 6, and it works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT.
At 5.71 x 1.85 x 1.14 inches and just 7.58 ounces, the glossy black Wyze Battery Video Doorbell is compact yet capable. It supports microSD cards up to 256GB, runs on the Wyze app version 3.7 or later, and supports Android 10+ and iOS 16+. It is backed by a one-year warranty and comes with mounting hardware and a USB-C charging cable.
