Crucial (a brand of Micron Technology) has introduced its fastest gaming memory to date, the DDR5 Pro Overclocking (OC) 6400 CL32 DRAM. Available as 16GB single modules or 32GB kits, this new memory is designed for PC gamers who want both top-tier performance and visual appeal.

Testing was performed on an AMD X870 chipset motherboard with a Ryzen 9 9800X3D processor, comparing the new modules against Crucial’s DDR5 5600 memory. Results will vary depending on hardware and the specific game.
With speeds reaching 6400MT/s and CL32 latency, Crucial’s latest modules offer up to 37.5 percent lower latency than standard JEDEC DDR5. The memory supports both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles, allowing users to enable performance tuning in the BIOS on modern platforms, including Intel Core Ultra Series 2 and AMD Ryzen 9000 CPUs.
The new heatspreader design reflects Crucial’s shift toward aesthetics and durability. Available in stealth matte black and snow fox white, the modules feature a camo-inspired pattern, diamond-cut logo and “Crucial Pro” branding along the spine.
