beyerdynamic AVENTHO 100 wireless headphones bring retro style and long battery life to the US

beyerdynamic AVENTHO 100

beyerdynamic has officially brought its retro-inspired AVENTHO 100 wireless on-ear headphones to the United States after an earlier rollout in Europe. The German audio company is aiming to combine old-school looks with the conveniences modern listeners expect.

The AVENTHO 100 promises premium Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), Bluetooth 5.4, and up to 60 hours of use on a single charge. With ANC enabled, battery life is closer to 40 hours, but a 15-minute quick charge still delivers around 15 hours of playback. That kind of efficiency makes these headphones a practical option for travel and work.

Comfort and portability are part of the package too. The lightweight 220g frame folds for easy storage, while plush ear pads aim for all-day comfort. On-ear touch controls keep music and calls within easy reach, and the IP53 protection rating adds a layer of durability against dust and splashes.

Inside, a 45mm dynamic driver delivers the company’s signature sound, tuned for full bass, detailed mids, and crisp highs. The closed-back, on-ear design helps maintain clarity even in noisy environments. Connectivity is handled through Bluetooth 5.4 with support for AAC, SBC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless codecs. Google Fast Pair and multipoint pairing make switching between devices easy, while firmware updates can be installed through the beyerdynamic app.

The AVENTHO 100 also packs in six microphones: four digital (two feedforward, two feedback) and two ENG mics. Together they support both ANC and clear call quality. A USB-C port handles charging, with a full recharge taking around 1.5 hours.

The headphones are available now in the US for $229.99 on Amazon and come in three finishes: Brown, Black, and Cream.

For listeners who want a classic look paired with modern features like ANC, long battery life, and support for high-quality codecs, the AVENTHO 100 makes a very strong case.
