Reolink is expanding its floodlight camera lineup with the launch of the TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi, a hardwired dual lens 4K PTZ security camera that promises full 360 degree horizontal coverage without the usual subscription strings attached. The company is clearly aiming this at homeowners who want fewer blind spots, brighter lighting, and local intelligence rather than another cloud dependent camera constantly nudging them to upgrade.
The big selling point here is coverage. Traditional fixed cameras see what they see, and that is often not enough. TrackFlex combines a wide angle 4K lens with a secondary telephoto lens, letting it watch large areas like driveways and yards while also zooming in on movement without losing detail. Both views appear at the same time inside the Reolink app, which is a practical touch and not just a spec sheet flex. It means you can keep situational awareness while still seeing exactly what triggered an alert.
Reolink is leaning hard into motion tracking with this model. The camera can pan and follow subjects automatically, switching focal lengths as needed. In theory, this avoids the blurry handoff you often get with single lens cameras that rely on digital zoom. Whether that works as smoothly in the real world will depend on installation and lighting, but the approach itself makes sense, especially for wide open properties.

Nighttime security is another area where TrackFlex tries to stand out. The built in floodlight pushes up to 3000 lumens, which is bright enough to fully light a yard rather than just wash it out. Users can choose between cool and warm color temperatures or let the camera decide automatically. There is also a loud 110 decibel siren for deterrence, though how often people actually want that enabled is another question entirely.
On the intelligence side, Reolink is promoting its ReoNeura AI system with local AI video search. Instead of scrubbing through timelines, users can search using descriptions like a person wearing a blue shirt or a vehicle in the driveway.
The key detail here is that all of this runs locally on the device, not in the cloud. That means no subscription fees and better privacy, which will appeal to users who are tired of monthly charges just to access features their hardware can already handle.

Another feature worth noting is out of view detection. TrackFlex uses three PIR sensors to monitor a wide 270 degree area, even beyond what the camera is directly pointing at. When mounted at the recommended height, it can detect motion from roughly 2 to 10 meters away and then rotate to capture what is happening. This is a smart way to reduce the chance of someone slipping through the edges of the frame unnoticed.
Reolink is also highlighting the product’s early industry recognition, including awards at IFA Berlin 2025. Awards do not guarantee a better camera, but they do suggest the design caught attention for addressing real limitations in traditional security setups, particularly around coverage and detail loss.
TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi is available here now in the United States, starting at $259.99, and it is sold without mandatory subscription fees, which may end up being the most convincing feature of all for budget conscious buyers who still want advanced capabilities. However, for a limited time, a clickable coupon brings the price to just $239.99!
