Wyze Duo Cam Pan delivers dual-lens 2K security for under $70

Wyze Duo Cam Pan

Wyze has launched the Duo Cam Pan, a smart security camera with two 2K lenses and pan-and-tilt tracking to wipe out blind spots both inside and outside the home. By combining two cameras into one device, it can watch adjacent areas at the same time or let one lens track movement while the other holds a fixed view. That means more coverage with less equipment to set up.

Wyze co-founder and CMO Dave Crosby said the Duo Cam Pan was built to “deliver double the visibility with the affordability and convenience of one device,” making it useful for anything from keeping an eye on pets to monitoring multiple outdoor angles while away.

The camera offers 360 degrees of horizontal rotation, 180 degrees of vertical tilt, and a wide 127.5-degree diagonal field of view per lens. It records in 2K resolution with Wide Dynamic Range and supports standard infrared night vision, color night vision, and spotlight LEDs. For deterrence, it has a motion-activated light system and a loud 100dB siren.

Extra features include Pan Scan with up to four custom waypoints, IP65 weather resistance, two-way audio, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 6 for a stronger connection with compatible routers. It works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT, and supports local storage via microSD card up to 512GB with no subscription needed.

The Duo Cam Pan measures 2.36 by 2.16 by 5.26 inches, weighs 0.66 pounds, and can be mounted on a stand, wall, or ceiling. It operates in temperatures from -4°F to 113°F and uses a 6-foot USB-C power cable.

The Wyze Duo Cam Pan is available now for $69.98 at Amazon.
