TRIBIT launches StormBox Mini Plus speaker with 360-degree sound and colorful lights

Bluetooth speaker

TRIBIT is back with a new portable audio product. You see, the company has officially launched the StormBox Mini Plus, a compact Bluetooth speaker designed for music lovers who want serious sound without the bulk.

Despite its small size, the StormBox Mini Plus promises a punchy audio experience. It delivers immersive 360-degree stereo sound thanks to dual 48mm full-range drivers, a passive radiator, and 12W of output. Built-in 2+1 Band Dynamic Range Control helps maintain clarity even at higher volumes. Whether you’re listening indoors or outdoors, the speaker is designed to bring your music to life without distortion.

TRIBIT has also added a personal touch to the audio experience. Through its iOS and Android app, users can choose from five EQ presets or manually tweak the sound to their liking. For an even wider soundstage, you can pair two Mini Plus units together for true wireless stereo.

One of the flashier additions is the interactive LED lighting. The multicolor lights sync with your music and pulse in rhythm, making it a fun choice for parties or solo beach sessions. While lights can drain battery, TRIBIT claims up to 12 hours of playtime at 50 percent volume with lighting off, and the USB-C port supports a full recharge in just 2.5 hours.

Weighing under 545g and measuring 119 x 91 x 91 mm, this speaker is easy to toss into a backpack, bike pouch, or even a jacket pocket. It’s also rugged enough to handle real-world use. The IPX7 waterproof rating means it can survive submersion in one meter of water for 30 minutes, making it a solid companion for pool parties, hikes, or beach outings.

For connectivity, TRIBIT includes Bluetooth 5.4 with a wireless range of up to 100 feet. It supports AAC for high-quality sound on Apple devices and SBC for universal compatibility. There’s even a 3.5mm AUX input for legacy gear, plus a built-in microphone so you can take calls or use your phone’s voice assistant.

TRIBIT clearly wants this to be the Swiss Army knife of mini speakers. From its customizable EQ profiles and colorful light show to its IPX7 waterproofing and voice assistant support, the StormBox Mini Plus checks a lot of boxes at a budget-friendly price.

The speaker is available now in three colors. You can find the black version for $39.99 on Amazon, while the green and blue variants go for $41.99.
