The company just announced that all Chromebook Plus models now come with a complimentary 12-month subscription to Google AI Pro, a perk worth nearly $240 on its own. That’s not a typo. Chromebook buyers get a full year of Google’s premium AI tools for free!
This limited-time promotion applies to every Acer Chromebook Plus device, including two new models just added to its North American lineup. The new Chromebook Plus 514 (CB514-6H/CB514-6HT) will begin shipping next month starting at $399.99. There’s also the new Chromebook Plus Enterprise 514 (CBE594-2/CBE594-2T), already available to commercial customers.

The included Google AI Pro plan, recently renamed from Google One AI Premium, gives users access to Gemini Advanced, 2TB of cloud storage, and Gemini built into Gmail, Google Docs, and more. You also get access to NotebookLM Plus and Flow, Google’s AI-powered video creation tool that uses its new Veo 3 Fast model to generate cinematic scenes.

The Chromebook Plus 516 goes bigger with a 16-inch display, Intel Core 7 processor options, triple mic array with DTS Audio, and Wi-Fi 7. It also meets military durability standards.
For those who prefer a 2-in-1 design, the Chromebook Plus Spin 714 features an Intel Core Ultra processor, 14-inch WUXGA touchscreen, Gorilla Glass, stylus support, and Thunderbolt 4. It also includes a 1440p webcam with AI enhancements and up to 10 hours of battery.
On the business side, the Chromebook Plus Enterprise 514 offers similar specs with the addition of Chrome Enterprise Upgrade, which unlocks advanced IT controls and streamlined management tools.
