XGIMI has introduced two new portable projectors aimed at people who are tired of compromises. The MoGo 4 and MoGo 4 Laser are compact, cleanly designed, and surprisingly capable. If you’ve used a portable projector before and walked away unimpressed, these models might change your mind.
Each one is about the size of a coffee cup and built to go just about anywhere. The standard MoGo 4 offers 1080p resolution at 450 ISO Lumens and can project up to 120 inches. It features dual 6W Harman Kardon speakers, gesture-based filter switching, and even turns into a Bluetooth speaker with reactive lighting. Included magnetic filters like Sunset and Lunar let you instantly change the mood with a quick wave in front of the lens.
Setup is simple thanks to auto keystone correction and full rotation. The included lanyard makes it easy to carry or hang up wherever you are. This isn’t just a projector you hide in a closet when you’re done. It’s meant to be used often and taken with you.

The MoGo 4 Laser kicks things up a notch. It uses triple laser projection with 550 ISO Lumens of brightness and covers 110 percent of the BT.2020 color space. That means you get more accurate colors and better contrast, all from the same ultra-portable footprint. It also includes the full set of filters and adds brushed aluminum detailing along with a transparent base that lights up when powered on.
Both models include built-in Google TV with licensed Netflix support. You don’t need to plug anything in to start streaming. They also offer WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI ARC, and USB ports for added flexibility. No extra gear required.

Optional accessories include the PowerBase Stand, which attaches magnetically and adds up to five hours of video playback. There’s also a 70-inch foldable outdoor screen that sets up in under a minute. These extras aren’t essential, but they do make the overall setup more convenient and flexible.
The MoGo 4 is priced at $499, while the MoGo 4 Laser goes for $799. Bundle options are also available. You can get the MoGo 4 with the PowerBase for $549, or the MoGo 4 Laser with the stand and screen for $899. From June 12 through July 12, XGIMI is offering 10 percent off all configurations on Amazon here.
