Pneumonic Plague Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026
Developer and policy owner: Brian Fagioli

This policy explains how the Pneumonic Plague game handles information.

Information collection

Pneumonic Plague does not collect or transmit personal information from gameplay to the developer. It works offline and does not require an account. The game has no advertising, analytics services, tracking, in-app purchases, subscriptions or cloud-save service.

The phone calls, conversations and medical records in the story are fictional. The game does not access your microphone, contacts, messages or health information.

Data stored on your device

The game stores audio preferences and an exploration profile locally. This includes story completion, discovered records, visited rooms, distance explored and object-interaction counts. These describe activity within the fictional game world, not your real-world location. The game does not upload this information.

On iPhone and iPad, deleting the app removes its local data. Your device’s backup and restore settings may retain or restore copies. Those backup services are controlled by Apple and your settings, separately from the game.

Apple services and external websites

Apple may process App Store purchases, downloads and system or crash diagnostics under Apple’s policies and your device settings. The game does not run its own analytics or diagnostic-upload service.

Optional links in Credits open external websites in your browser. Those websites have their own privacy practices. The game does not include your saved profile in these links. Visits to NERDS.xyz are covered separately by the NERDS.xyz website privacy policy.

Contact and policy changes

For privacy or support questions, contact Brian Fagioli at brian@nerds.xyz, also listed on the NERDS.xyz Contact page. If you contact him, he receives the information you choose to send so he can respond to your request.

Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
