Mophie launches new Powerstation Plus power banks with faster charging and integrated USB-C cables

Mophie has been making portable power products for years, and I’ve always liked the company’s approach. Its accessories tend to feel like they are built to last, and the new Powerstation Plus lineup looks like another example of that focus.

The company has introduced four new Powerstation Plus models, split into two categories: Signature and Standard. The idea is pretty simple. People who want premium materials and faster charging can go with Signature, while those who just need dependable backup power can choose Standard.

The Signature Series is where Mophie is putting its higher-end features. The Powerstation Plus 10K Signature Series includes a 10,000 mAh battery, up to 30W charging, two integrated braided magnetic USB-C cables, and the ability to charge up to three devices at once.

Mophie says the 10K Signature model can charge an iPhone 17 Pro up to 50 percent in about 20 minutes when used with the right charging setup. It can be had for $59.95.

There is also the smaller Powerstation Plus mini 5K Signature Series, which includes a 5,000 mAh battery, 20W fast charging, and a built-in braided magnetic USB-C cable. It is priced at $39.95.

For people who do not need the premium finishes, the Standard Series keeps things simpler. The Powerstation Plus mini 5K Standard Series offers 15W charging and a 5,000 mAh battery for $29.95, while the Powerstation Plus 10K Standard Series increases capacity to 10,000 mAh with up to 20W charging and support for two devices for just $39.95.

One thing I appreciate about the lineup is the built-in USB-C cables. Carrying a power bank but forgetting the cable is one of those annoying little problems that happens more often than it should. Having the cable attached makes these easier to toss into a bag and forget about until they are needed.

“With the new Powerstation Plus lineups, our goal was to give consumers the flexibility to choose the experience that best fits their lifestyle, whether that’s premium materials and enhanced performance or reliable, everyday power,” said Brian Oleksa, chief marketing officer at Mophie.

All four models are FAA-compliant for carry-on travel and include a two-year warranty.

For me, the appeal of Mophie has always been simple: it makes accessories that feel dependable. A power bank is something you usually need when things are already going wrong, so having one you trust matters.
