Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch launches today with rugged titanium design and built-in flashlight

T Rex 3 Pro

Amazfit is rolling out a new smartwatch built for people who spend more time on trails and mountains than in boardrooms. The T-Rex 3 Pro, unveiled today, takes the already tough T-Rex 3 platform and makes it stronger, smarter, and more practical for outdoor use.

The watch comes in two case sizes, 48mm and 44mm, and both are built from Grade 5 titanium alloy with a sapphire glass display. Those materials make it more durable than stainless steel and tougher than standard titanium. The design looks rugged and cool. It is far more attractive and manly than a dainty Apple Watch. It’s meant for extreme conditions, even working in temperatures as low as -30°C.

A standout feature is the integrated dual-color LED flashlight. It’s not just a gimmick, folks, it offers a bright boost mode, a red light for night visibility, SOS flash, and safety alerts. For endurance athletes and adventurers, that’s a practical addition.

The AMOLED screen comes in two sizes, 1.5 inches on the larger model and 1.32 inches on the smaller, with up to 3000 nits brightness for clear visibility in direct sunlight. Bluetooth calling is supported thanks to a built-in speaker and microphone, making it easier to stay connected without pulling out a phone.

Navigation gets a serious upgrade too. The T-Rex 3 Pro includes dual-band GPS with support for six satellite systems, offline maps with turn-by-turn directions, rerouting, and even ski maps with resort data. That makes it useful whether you’re hiking a backcountry trail or tackling alpine slopes.

For training and fitness, the watch supports more than 180 sports modes, including trail running, scuba diving, and strength training with auto rep counting. Its BioCharge energy monitoring system combines workout, recovery, and stress data to give users a single score that reflects how ready they are to perform. Battery life reaches up to 25 days on the larger 48mm version and 17 days on the 44mm.

Like other Amazfit products, it integrates with the Zepp app and works without a subscription. It’s compatible with both Android and iOS, and it can sync with other Amazfit accessories like the Helio Strap and Helio Ring.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro is available starting today for $399 on Amazon. Color options include Tactical Black (48mm available now), Black Gold (48mm available later this month), and two 44mm models coming later this year.
