GE Lighting launches Cync smart dimmer switches with Matter support

Cync Keypad Dimmer Smart Switch

GE Lighting has launched two new smart switches. The Cync Keypad Dimmer Smart Switch and the Cync Paddle Dimmer Smart Switch are now available, giving homeowners an easy way to upgrade their lighting with Matter compatibility and Wi-Fi control.

Both models are designed for simple DIY installation in homes built after the 1980s that include neutral and ground wiring. No hub is required. Built-in Wi-Fi allows for remote access, scheduling, and scene creation through the Cync app. A single switch can control an entire circuit, removing the need for companion switches.

The included traveler wire also supports 3-way and 4-way setups without depending on Wi-Fi. When paired with Cync smart bulbs, schedules and voice commands still work even if the switches are turned off.

Cync Paddle Dimmer Smart Switch

The Keypad Dimmer Smart Switch offers two programmable buttons for quick control of rooms or custom scenes. Smooth dimming works with LED and incandescent bulbs, making it ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and entryways.

The Paddle Dimmer Smart Switch has a traditional paddle design paired with a side slider for brightness adjustment. Subtle LED indicators display the dimming level while keeping a clean look, making it a strong choice for kitchens, bathrooms, and other frequently used spaces.

Both switches are available now on Amazon. The Cync Keypad Dimmer Smart Switch costs $44.99, while the Paddle Dimmer Smart Switch is priced at $25.99.
