Gaming PC builder iBUYPOWER has a new keyboard that punches well above its price tag. The MK9 Pro RGB Mechanical Keyboard, made in collaboration with Redragon, is now available on the iBUYPOWER Gear Store for only $59.99.

The MK9 Pro is a 96 percent mechanical keyboard, meaning it includes nearly all the keys of a full-size layout but in a more compact form. At just 392mm wide and weighing 0.76kg, it saves desk space without skimping on functionality. With 98 keys total, the layout strikes a balance between size and usability.

This keyboard uses smooth linear switches that are also hot-swappable. That means users can easily change them out without soldering, giving flexibility to upgrade or repair switches down the line. It’s a nice touch at this price point, especially for keyboard enthusiasts.

The typing experience is further refined thanks to a gasket-mounted PCB. That construction approach helps with both acoustics and feel, making each keystroke more comfortable and quieter. And for those who like a bit of flair, the MK9 Pro offers per-key addressable RGB lighting. Users can control the lighting effects with HYTE’s Nexus software, giving full customization without relying on proprietary iBUYPOWER tools.

There’s also a handy analog control wheel for volume, making it easy to tweak audio without leaving your game or app. The keyboard connects via a detachable USB-C cable, offering both convenience and portability.

At under $60, this keyboard is a strong value. Between the compact layout, customizable switches, vivid lighting, and solid build, it’s the kind of keyboard I wish more companies would release. I love this design. You don’t see many compact, hot-swappable RGB keyboards in this price range, and honestly, that’s surprising.

The MK9 Pro RGB is available now from the company directly in white (here) and black (here). It will be on display at Anime Expo for anyone who wants hands-on time before buying.
