TEAMGROUP today announced the APEX SD7.1 microSD Express Card, and it’s super fast. It features read speeds up to 800MB/s and write speeds hitting 700MB/s thanks to its PCIe Gen3 x1 interface and NVMe protocol.
To unlock those speeds, however, you’ll need a device with a microSD Express slot. And yes, the Nintendo Switch 2 supports that interface (this card pretty much exists for that console). But if you’re still using older gear, don’t worry. The APEX SD7.1 is fully backward compatible with standard microSD slots, though it won’t hit peak speeds without Express support.
Power up your battlestation with the KAMRUI Hyper H1 Mini Gaming PC, featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and a blazing-fast 1TB NVMe SSD.

The company didn’t cut corners on durability either. The APEX SD7.1 is rated A1 for application performance, supports Video Speed Class V30 for 4K UHD recording, and is water-resistant, shockproof, X-ray proof, and built to withstand extreme temperatures. It’s ready for just about anything you throw at it.
The card comes in four capacities: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The 1TB version can reportedly hold more than 30 full games. But of course, your mileage may vary based on game sizes. You probably should just buy the biggest capacity… if you can afford it, of course.
You can’t buy the APEX SD7.1 microSD Express Card today, sadly. We also don’t know pricing. However, it should show up on Amazon here soon. As an added bonus, thankfully, it is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
