PEG & CRANK

Privacy policy

Last updated October 22, 2026

Peg & Crank is a single-player bike game. It does not require a separate game account and contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK.

Progress stored on your device

The game stores progress, scores, completed objectives, timed records and preferences on your device so you can keep playing offline and continue later. An installation key and a device identifier supplied by Apple help distinguish a restored save from a different device and avoid counting progress twice. The Apple device identifier stays on your device; iCloud save records use a separate random key. These identifiers are not used for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.

iCloud saves

When iCloud is available, the game uses Apple’s iCloud key-value storage with the Apple Account already signed into your device. Save records include completed goals, scores, best combos, partial career progress and timed-play records. The developer does not operate a server for these saves or receive your Apple Account password. Your private iCloud save is not available to the developer through the game.

Play and local saving remain available without iCloud. The game shows save status in Settings. Sound and control preferences, plus your selected rider and park, stay specific to the device. Apple’s services handle iCloud storage and transfer under Apple’s privacy policy.

Permissions and tracking

The game uses touch, keyboard or compatible controller input to play. It does not request your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location. It does not include an advertising or third-party analytics SDK and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Support and diagnostic information

If you email support, the developer receives the information you choose to send, including your email address and any screenshots or details in the message. Please avoid sending passwords or unrelated personal information. Support messages and diagnostic reports are used to answer questions, investigate bugs and improve the game.

Apple may provide app crash or diagnostic information through its platform services. During TestFlight testing, Apple automatically collects and shares beta crash and usage information with the developer; submitted feedback may include screenshots, comments and information associated with your invitation. Apple’s TestFlight & Privacy notice explains what is shared and how it is handled.

Managing your data

Local saves remain on your device until that app data is removed or otherwise cleared. Removing local data can permanently remove progress that has not reached iCloud. Removing a local save does not erase records already stored in iCloud, and the game does not provide a cloud-data erasure button.

Use your device’s system settings to manage your Apple Account and available iCloud options. Contact support if you have questions about information you sent directly to the developer or wish to request access or deletion. The developer cannot recover a local save that was not backed up or synchronized.

Contact and updates

For privacy questions, email Brian@nerds.xyz. This policy may be updated when the game’s data handling changes; the date above identifies the latest revision.
